Mitchell Gough
In a Nutshell:
Mitch is one of seven Q directors and has 25+ years of financial industry experience – specialising in Corporate Business Protection and Mortgages.
Fun Fact:
Has a passion for competitive Motocross racing and only stopped at age 47! (We think he should get back into it!)
Stuart Mackintosh
In a Nutshell:
Stu is an ex-golf professional and footballer – his claim to fame is playing against England in front of Sir Bobby Robson.
Fun-Fact:
Loves his fly fishing and often ventures to Lake Vyrnwy and the Scottish highlands to escape the hustle and bustle. His extended family tree has ties to royalty… or so he says!
Ryan Wheeler
In a Nutshell:
Ryan is an avid sports lover, he is also an ex-professional golfer and failed footballer!
Fun Fact:
Loves all things Aston Villa – Ryan loves to travel and his claim to fame was enjoying a Big Mac and drink with One Direction’s Harry Styles… we think they were the privileged ones!
Steve Parry
In a Nutshell:
Steve has over 20 years of experience in Commercial Banking. He is a specialist in the industry and has a passion for helping businesses grow!
Fun Fact:
Steve actually won the best looking man in Wellington, three years running.
(We don’t believe it either.)
Ben Wootton
In a Nutshell:
Ben set up Little Rascals Indoor Play centre in 2015 and founded Little Rascals foundation, a charity supporting children with disabilities in 2016.
Fun Fact:
Ben’s job interview involved going on a 3 day “business trip” to Vilamoura to showcase his worth to the Directors – Ben nearly hindered his chances by throwing one of the directors shoes into the Atlantic Ocean!

Andrew Dunn
In a Nutshell:
Andrew spent a number of years within the motor trade industry, selling vehicles on behalf of JLR, Ford Direct & RCI before re evaluating his situation at the beginning of the pandemic, completing his CII industry qualifications in fine fashion.
Fun Fact:
Loves a scotch Egg, hot or cold!
Jacques Moulson
In a Nutshell:
Jacques has over 6 years’ experience in banking and finance working for NatWest bank in retail and commercial banking.
Fun Fact:
Played for Port Vale and Shrewsbury Town as a kid. He was also named after famous F1 race driver Jacques Villeneuve. Follows Manchester United.
Lewis Hughes
In a nutshell:
Lewis has over six years’ experience in the mortgage industry and is working towards completing the 3 CeMAP exams to become a fully qualified Mortgage Advisor.
Fun fact:
First team captain at his local cricket club, Wightwick & Finchfield in Wolverhampton. Also, follows Wolves home and away.
Kirsty Ambrose
In a Nutshell:
Kirsty joined the Q Financial Services team in August 2019 after a previous career in childcare and mental health rehabilitation.
Fun Fact:
In Kirsty’s spare time she enjoys taking her dog Meg for walks, going swimming, socialising and occasionally going on holiday!
Piers Hindhaugh
In a Nutshell:
Piers is Shropshire born and grew up in the village of Pontesbury. Piers is very driven and is already showing a great understanding of the industry.
Fun Fact:
Piers is a keen golfer and can often be seen at Arscott golf club wearing his very extravagant gear.
Commercial Finance
David Wells
In A Nutshell:
David joined Q after running two premier golf venues before achieving his Golf Professional Teaching Degree. Having mastered the world of golf, Dave fancied a new challenge and following a chance meeting with one of the Q Directors he was inspired to join us.
Fun fact:
David used to be a Teaching Golf Professional and also played junior volleyball for the West Midlands (many years ago)
Josh Timbrell
In a Nutshell:
Josh has a decorated history of experience in the finance market and is no minor when it comes to providing professional advice on all things Commercial. He has an excellent success rate completing deals and enjoys tackling more complex difficult cases that takes creativity and initiative to achieve his clients requirements.
Fun Fact:
After over a decade of commitment, Josh achieved his 3rd Dan Blackbelt in Kickboxing before joining Q.
Marie Brocklehurst
In a Nutshell:
Marie supports the Commercial team in their day to day operations ensuring all the cogs run smoothly. She has worked in the financial services industry for the last 9 years and loves being able to help our clients achieve their financial goals with a friendly and professional service, always.
Fun Fact:
In her spare time, Marie enjoys navigating at 4×4 off road competitions with her brother and a group of friends, where she enjoys nights away camping and socialising around the camp fire.
Harry Woodburn
In a Nutshell:
Harry has joined the commercial team as a university graduate looking to take his first steps into the commercial finance world. He is a talented and well-motivated individual who has already shown a great level of understanding within the industry, he has the perfect characteristics to thrive within this field and is a great addition to the Q team.
Fun Fact:
Harry could’ve made it pro in football if he didn’t get injured, well that’s what he likes to believe anyway.
